Use time well

Time is our most valuable resource. We can only spend it once, so we should spend it well. At work, this means you have to think strategically and tactically about how to use your time well.

You can use time well by focusing on three questions:

  • What do I want to achieve?
  • How can I get others to help me?
  • What is my role?

These questions, as we shall see, should look familiar.

What do I want to achieve?

This is the return of your idea. Know what you want to achieve and stay focused on that. You will still have to deal with the day-to-day noise of where you work, but do not let yourself be drowned by the noise.
