I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Lead in a global world
If you can lead a global team, you can lead any team. It is the defining challenge of twenty-first-century leadership, because it encompasses all the challenges that the leaders of tomorrow will have to deal with. The global challenges are challenges of distance and control.
In a global team the obvious challenge is distance, which makes communications much harder. Not everyone is awake at the same time, let alone working at the same time. Even if you can manage the logistics of communicating across time zones, distance exposes the deeper challenge of trust. You have to be able to trust to take decisions and act the way you want while you sleep. They cannot keep on checking in with you at 3am every morning. ...
