Character Design
Character design is another specialist area in itself. I believe that you either have the ability for it or you do not. That said, so as not to frighten anyone away, you can easily be a fine character animator without being capable of drawing original and well-structured character designs! Here are a few guidelines that can make you design better characters, whether you're naturally good at it or not.
