Audio Breakdown

There is one last thing before you can finally animate your film! If you are using dialog, or if your action tightly synchronizes with your audio track, you will need to do an audio breakdown first. Track breakdowns actually can be fun! Although I personally can't wait to get to the animation part of one of my productions, probably just like you, I enjoy analyzing the audio track and working out what sound drops link to what frame I'll be animating on to. The fun can actually start at the recording stage, however!

You never know where you'll need to place a microphone to catch the moment!
