Facebook has literally changed the lives of millions of people. It has changed the way we view the world and will continue to evolve and shape what we do.

Facebook is a very powerful tool. Consider this: after teaching one lady about how to use Facebook, she told me that she signed up for the site and found her best friend from college who she hadn't spoken to in over 30 years!

And that is what makes Facebook so great—right? Ten years ago, if you lost a friend's contact information, how would you reach them? If you didn't have their address, you couldn't send them mail. If you didn't have their phone number, there was no way to call. Few people had cell phones. Looking up contact information required a phone book—you couldn't just get online.

But now everything has changed. If I need someone's contact information, I'll be able to find it, either through some sort of social network or through Google. There will be a way to find them.

Unfortunately, most people don't search for your Etsy shop like they search for an old friend. This is why it is so important to learn how to market your products online.
