How to do things effectively

This chapter is fundamentally about how you can get the greatest possible amount done in the time you have available. For many people this means multi-tasking, but, as we will see, this is a poor solution and trying to do too much at a time can harm your efficiency.

The real solutions are to choose well how you respond to a task, and to have effective strategies for doing what you do. So this chapter we will pick up on some of the themes you read about in Chapter 3; in particular: planning, review and organisation.
