After having gone through the rigor of negotiations, the partners are ready to make the alliance operational. Management executives managing the alliance, however, need to keep in mind that alliance agreement and the legal documents cannot be complete, and exhaustive that take care of all possible contingency. It is the responsibility of the managers to thrash out details in their day-to-day working with their counterparts in the partner organization.
