Managing Anxiety Successfully
Tight nerves and speaking anxiety are not unusual, even among experienced speakers, but excessive stage fright can lead to stage flight, sapping your confidence and preventing the real you from shining through (Figure 11-2). It's vital to know how to keep the butterflies at a manageable level, or, as one speaker put it, "to get them to fly in formation."
