You have successfully learnt all the strategies on how to get a consumer to turn into a customer and then turn that customer into a loyal fan.
But learning all those strategies is overwhelming without a structure, so I am going to show you how to structure your time so that you can work on those strategies consistently.
Before we dive into structure, I want to talk about how to measure the success of your strategies. As a business owner, you need to be looking at certain numbers/ratios frequently to see if the marketing strategies that you have put in place are actually working and growing your business. Without this, you are making uninformed decisions that could detrimentally affect your business.
Measuring marketing success
Many business owners look at metrics separately across different platforms, but that doesn't give you a holistic view of your business performance. Of course, each strategy has its own results to look at, but in order to see how they are all working as a whole, you should be looking at key business numbers that show you how your business is tracking.
There are eight numbers/ratios I want you to look at on a daily basis:
- Revenue: Your total top-line revenue
- Cost of goods sold: This is your landed cost of all products that have been sold
- Profit: This is your revenue minus your cost of goods sold minus your expenses (this does not need to be 100 per cent accurate, but I'd like you to know a rough profit for the week) ...
