Why thinking has stopped

That would be an exaggeration. We haven’t stopped thinking. But the process of thinking in business has become problematic. Senior executives like Ian Parker, CEO of insurer Equity Red Star, describe the difficulty of stopping to think when the machine he’s running is moving so fast with so many parts whirring at once.
