Chapter 16. Built-in Performance Tools
Performance management tools are provided with OpenView Operations. These tools are provided out-of-the-box and are ready to use. Tailor the components for your specific environment. In order to utilize some of the tools, you distribute them to the managed node. When deployed, the tools collect metric data and monitor thresholds. When specific thresholds are met, exceeded, or below normal, the tools generate an appropriate message for the operators' view. Other tools are available at the management server.
