I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CDE Basics
Because most systems come with a set of CDE user guides, I'm only going to give an overview of what CDE looks like and the main areas we will be working with when we do some customizations. Along the way, I'll point out similarities and differences among the different flavors of CDE.
The CDE login screen presents you with several choices before you even log in. Under the area where you enter your user name are four buttons: OK, Start Over, Options, and Help. OK is just the same as pressing Enter when you enter your login and then password. The Start Over button clears your user login and allows you to start over.
