Management Processor nPartition Commands

The Management Processor (also known as the Service Processor or Guardian Service Processor (GSP) in some cases) is a low level means of accessing the system. The Management Processor has its own unique set of commands, some of which we'll cover later. You gain access to the Service Process using telnet. because it has two network connections on it, one called a Customer LAN and the other called a Private LAN. You would typically use the Customer LAN to access the Management Processor. You could also access the Management Processor through the Local Console connection on the Core I/O card if you wish to plug in a terminal directly to the console port.
