Design Considerations
The design of a home and garden water system can include devices to automatically control the times and intervals for watering lawns, shrubs, and flowering plants. Systems can also distribute water in different zones that have different watering requirements. In addition, design requirements must be considered for measuring the quality of the water to ensure safe and proper operation of pools and spas.
You must consider the advantages for including a remote access capability for a water system. Most irrigation system contractors require users to include wireless device control of the system for ease of maintenance and troubleshooting, as explained later in this section.
