Equipment Locations
Water control and management systems require control valves to be located in the area where the sprinkler heads can be connected with moderately short runs of irrigation pipes. Backflow and double-check valves are also required for isolating the irrigation system from the main municipal water supply. The location and operation of other water system components such as relays, heaters, pumps, and solenoids are also discussed in the following section.
