Creating a Web Site from Scratch

The Web site templates available in FrontPage are very helpful and can save you a lot of time, but if you have a specific vision of what you want, it might be easier to start from scratch than to edit a Web site based on one of the templates to fit your needs.

You have three choices when starting from scratch:

  • Empty Web Site. This template generates a new Web site with no pages. You must then add each page you need.

  • One Page Web Site. This template generates a new Web site with a single, blank page. You can then add whatever structure or content you want to that page, as well as create additional pages.
