Avoid Common HTML Mistakes

There are many common mistakes that can make the difference between a successful Web site and one that is a failure. Over time, avoiding these issues will become second nature. Note that everything listed here applies to both HTML and XHTML pages.

Change the Title

HTML editors, both code-based and visual design, will create the basic HTML structure tags for you. These editors will either leave the title blank, or put some generic text in place for you. You need to be sure to change the title of every page to something appropriate for that page.
