It’s no accident that the Hudl’s screen is just the right proportions for playing TV programmes and films. Its high-definition1440x900-pixel display also means that any video you play is shown off in lavish detail. The great news is that you can watch a fantastic array of films, TV programmes and online video on your Hudl. As I show you in Chapter 4, you can also make anything that you can play on your Hudl screen play on your high-definition television (HDTV) screen by connecting them using a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable.
What’s even better is that you can enjoy plenty of video and TV on your Hudl for free. Just create a Clubcard TV account, and you’ll be able to take your pick from some classic TV programmes and films. Many of the titles in the Clubcard TV library are suitable for kids, so make this your first port of call when you need to entertain them.
