There are many scaling frameworks to choose from, but the one used most frequently is the Scaled Agile Framework^®, or SAFe^® for short.¹ SAFe is used here as a representative approach to scaling Agile, because it’s flexible, robust, widely adopted, and already incorporates values appropriate to Human-Centered Design (HCD), making its specific practices good for discussing where HCD should fit.
