Abstract

The leakage of liquid PCM and flaws in thermophysical performance significantly hinder the potential application of PCMs. Aerogel-based shape-stabilized PCM offer a highly effective solution for enhancing the packaging and thermal performance of phase change materials (PCMs) due to their exceptionally high specific surface area, higher porosity, unique physical and thermal characteristics, and low density.
