4.1 Introduction

In this chapter, a hybrid encryption framework based on the Rubik’s cube is suggested as a means to attain simultaneous encryption of a group of images. The suggested hybrid encryption framework begins with CFB operation mode of chaotic Baker map permutation or AES or RC6 technique as a first step for encrypting the multiple images, separately. Then, the resulting encrypted images are further encrypted in a second stage with Rubik’s cube technique. Chaotic, RC6, or AES encrypted images are utilized as the faces of the Rubik’s cube.
