1.1 Hybrid Perovskite Solar Cells
Hybrid perovskites, unique materials composed of moving organic cations and rigid inorganic framework, show remarkable suitability as light absorbers of photovoltaic devices, enabling us to reach a 25% efficiency in a single‐cell configuration [1] and a 29% efficiency in a tandem device configuration [1] in a rather short period of time since the first development of a hybrid perovskite solar cell in 2009 [2].
