3.1 What Is Hybrid Perovskite?
Perovskite compounds have a simple basic structure expressed by ABX3, and a wide variety of oxide, chalcogenide, and halide materials adopt a perovskite‐based crystal structure. Figure 3.1 illustrates the structure of a cubic ABX3 perovskite, where an A‐site center cation is confined in a cage structure formed by B‐site cations and X‐site anions.
