14.1 Introduction

Over the last decade, we have witnessed a huge growth in the field of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). It was predicted at the beginning of the research that these solid‐state hybrid solar cells based on organometal trihalide perovskite absorbers are the potential candidate for highly efficient low‐cost solar power [1].
