Defining the Project/Program

Defining the project/program (see Figure 3.1) is a key process often neglected or implicit in existing bodies of knowledge. Thanks to a definition of a project or program management activity is grounded, explicit, and can be used for coordination purposes. Defining the project/ program is also a natural by-product of projects or programs as it is reflected by project documentation. So all management products contribute to the definition, which can be treated as project/program evidence. The HybridP3M process of defining the project/program focuses on a stable management environment based on the definition of a project approach, a key document used for consensus.
