Summary Of Anticipated Networking Extension Features
Although much of the HyperTransport task force work on the Networking Extensions is done, at the time of this writing, the1.05 and 1.1 revisions to the specification have not been released. The actual format of new packets and control mechanisms to be used with the network extensions are still being finalized, but the major features have been described in materials available on the HyperTransport web site (www.hypertransport.org), FAQ documents, and white papers on the subject.
