Ross MacDonald is an illustrator, autodidact, former egg candler, and onetime rugged Canadian boy currently residing in New York City. His rogue to riches story is common currency. Little is known of MacDonald, and less is spoken. His doodles have stained the pages of most magazines and sullied movies and Broadway plays, but he finds peace in his happy home life.
