IBM Cognos Connection web portal
IBM Cognos Connection, a web portal, is the place where all actions take place. It is the single and central point for accessing all of the IBM Cognos Studios and application-specific data that we have described in the earlier sections. Users use this portal to access their planning model, reports, analysis, metrics, events, and so on. System administrators use this portal to administer the IBM Cognos environment, including security, configuration, and status checks. The following screenshot shows the main IBM Cognos Connection page. The customizable task icons are available to users based on their job roles, for example, Report Authors and Content Administrator.
