IBM Cognos Lifecycle Manager
One of the tools introduced with IBM Cognos 10 is IBM Cognos Lifecycle Manager. During an upgrade of an IBM Cognos implementation, users and report authors usually express some concern over the fidelity of their reports post upgrade. Cognos Lifecycle Manager addresses that concern by allowing users and authors to compare report output before and after an upgrade. The comparison is not limited to upgrades; it can be used any time an existing report undergoes any significant change. Changes that might affect your reports include upgrading your source database version, IBM Cognos version changes, a change made to the IBM Cognos Framework Manager model that underlies the report, and so on.
