The Db2 database manager configuration

When you create an instance, a corresponding DBM file called db2systm is created in the $HOME/sqllib directory. You can display and modify the content of the DBM file for a particular instance by executing the GET DBM CFG command.

The basic syntax for the command to display the DBM configuration file is as follows:

    GET [DATABASE MANAGER | DB MANAGER | DBM]
    [CONFIGURATION | CONFIG | CFG] <SHOW DETAIL>

If you want to display the settings of the database manager configuration for the instance db2inst1, you can do so by executing the following commands:

db2 "ATTACH TO db2inst1" Instance Attachment Information Instance server = DB2/LINUXX8664 11.1.3.3 Authorization ID = DB2INST1 Local instance alias = DB2INST1 ...
