The deployment of any large application or suite of applications usually requires efforts in two distinct but related domains: the technical planning and the organizational change planning. This chapter covers the major requirements for laying out an approach for both of these domains. Since these two domains must be integrated during the deployment, the initial planning steps generally include both the technical architects and organizational change specialists, along with business representatives and project management.
