Veeam FSI-CIFS
This chapter describes the steps and preferred practices for configuring and setting up Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and restore. It also provides parameters and settings for best performance with ProtecTIER File System Interface-Common Internet File System (FSI-CIFS).
Before continuing, make sure that you have already configured your ProtecTIER System for FSI-CIFS. You should have the following tasks completed:
•A file system created
•CIFS authentication configured
•CIFS Share created
