1.6.3 TCP/IP sessions
No ACB ranges or VTAM LU definitions are required for connections to TCP/IP
sessions. The major requirement is that the APPLID
must be TCP_1. The APPL
and DESCRIPTION parameters can be whatever you like. The DATA parameter
holds the TCP/IP address of the target application. Example 1-21 illustrates an
APPL definition for a TCP/IP application. See Session Manager for z/OS
Facilities Reference, SC34-6287, for more information about configuring a
TCP/IP application definition.
