When analyzing data, you are often concerned with whether groups differ from each other. The Means node allows us to determine if two groups differ significantly on a continuous variable. Specifically, the Means node compares the mean differences between independent groups or between pairs of related fields to test whether a significant difference exists. For example, prior to modeling, it would be useful to investigate whether there are significant differences between income categories based on the continuous fields we are planning to use as predictors.
