Model assessment and comparison using the Evaluation node

The Evaluation node offers an easy way to evaluate and compare predictive models in order to choose the best model for your situation. Evaluation charts show how models perform in predicting particular outcomes. They work by sorting records based on the predicted value and confidence of the prediction, splitting the records into quantiles (groups of equal size), and then plotting the value of a criterion for each quantile, from highest to lowest.

Lets evaluate both models using the Evaluation node. To do this:

  1. Place an Evaluation node from the Graphs palette onto the canvas.
  2. Connect the second CHAID model to the Evaluation node.
  3. Edit the Evaluation node:
