Matrix node

The Matrix node creates a cross tabulation table that shows the relationships between fields. It is most commonly used to show the relationship between two categorical fields, but it can also show the relationships between flag fields or numeric fields. The Matrix node shows us how values of one field are related to those of a second field.

In this example, we will use the Matrix node to see whether there is a statistically significant relationship between the fields Income_category and Investment, that is, we are going to quantify what we previously observed with the Distribution node. To do this:

  1. Place a Matrix node on the canvas.
  2. Connect the Type node to the Matrix node.
  3. Edit the Matrix node.
