3.3 Two Site BC installation
After successfully installing the basic TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication you
can upgrade to TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication Two Site BC or Advanced
Edition. This section takes you through that process.
To start the Windows 2003 installation of TPC for Replication V3.1 Two Site BC, run the
setupwin32.exe found in the source installation directory. This will start the java installer and
display the InstallShield window as shown in Figure 3-38.

The InstallShield Wizard Welcome panel is displayed. Note that the window shown in
Figure 3-39 on page 50 indicates that you are installing Advanced Edition. Click Next to
continue.

The installer performs a system prerequisite check to ensure you have TPC for Replication
already installed on your server. If the prerequisite check is passed the window is updated to
indicate you may continue the installation as shown in Figure 3-40. Click Next to continue.

The license agreement panel is displayed. Click I accept the terms of the license
agreement as shown in Figure 3-41 on page 51 to continue.

In the next window you specify the directory path where TotalStorage Productivity Center for
Replication is installed (see Figure 3-42). Review the information in the panel and update if
necessary. Click Next to continue.

The information that has been gathered and that will be used for the installation is presented
in Figure 3-43 on page 52. Review the information and click Install to start the installation.

You will be presented with a bar showing the installation progress, which is the license key
deployment (see Figure 3-44).

Once the installation is complete you will be presented with a window indicating the
Advanced Edition has been successfully installed (see Figure 3-45 on page 53). Click Finish
to exit the installer.
