5.2.4 Add Copy Sets

The next step is to populate a session with copy sets.

Use GUI to add Copy Sets

Now that we have a session created we can begin to create copy sets within the session.

From the Sessions panel we select the

Add Copy Sets option from the drop-down menu as

Figure 5-30 shows. Then click the Go button.

This will open a new window where we define the copy sets as Figure 5-31 on page 103

shows. In this window we define the source subsystems via the first drop-down menu.

Next we define the source IO group as shown in Figure 5-32.

Then we define the source volumes as Figure 5-33 on page 104 shows.

Once the source volume is selected we click the Next button to proceed to the Target

definitions as shown in Figure 5-34.

Then select the target IO group and volume as Figure 5-35 on page 105 displays. Then click

the Next button to proceed.

TPC for Replication will now perform a check to confirm that the volume attributes match.

Figure 5-36 indicates this checking process. We can see that TPC for Replication has

matched the volumes and we can proceed by clicking the Next button.

In the next panel shown in Figure 5-37 on page 106 you select the copy set to add to the

session and click Next to continue.

TPC for Replication then requires you to confirm your configuration as Figure 5-38 shows.

From here just click the Next button.

Finally, when the Copy Set has been successfully added, click the Finish button as shown in

Figure 5-39 on page 107.
