In this chapter we discuss the z/OS Workload Management (WLM) topics that apply to WebSphere. As with other z/OS chapters, we introduce WLM so all readers of the text can benefit, not just those who have z/OS experience. In the topology chapter, we introduced the reasons people choose the zSeries platform. WLM is a big part of the quality that zSeries users expect.
