Network Deployment Commands

This class of commands deals with the configuration of the local node in relation to a cell. Commands allow you to federate a node into a cell (addNode), defederate a node from a cell (removeNode), or in certain situations, get the configuration from the Deployment Manager copied to the node.

Federation

The process of federation takes a stand-alone node and adds it as part of a cell. After a node is federated, it can be administered from the Deployment Manager server, along with all the other nodes in the cell. Node federation also creates the node agent process, which allows the Deployment Manager to communicate with all of the servers in the node.
