Common Admin Scenarios Using Wsadmin

Two end-to-end scenarios are provided to show a potentially useful sequence of common actions using the scripting client wsadmin.

Scenario 1—Install and Start an Application on a New Server

Example 5.114 shows a Jacl script to provide an end-to-end scenario for creating a new server and installing an application on the new server. Lines 1–5 set up four values to be used for the rest of the script. The values are node name, server name, application name, and application file name.
