Performance
This chapter describes the performance considerations for IBM z13.
The IBM z13 Model NE1 is designed to offer approximately 40% more capacity and 3.3 times the amount of memory than the IBM zEnterprise EC12 (zEC12) Model HA1 system. Uniprocessor performance also has increased. A z13 Model 701 offers, on average, performance improvements of more than 10% over the zEC12 Model 701.
