zPDT installation
The zPDT system operates as a normal Linux application. The supported bases for zPDT, both hardware and software, are described in Chapter 2, “Function, releases, content” on page 5. We strongly suggest that the general procedures described here be followed for initial zPDT use. After you gain experience with zPDT, explore other installation and usage arrangements. Many of our choices are arbitrary and simply reflect our preference for a simple Linux.
