Virtualization
zPDT can be used in a virtual environment. Two environments were tested for zPDT use:
•VMware products, including VSphere Enterprise.
•KVM in basic Linux distributions
Other virtual environments might operate correctly, but have not been tested by zPDT. In particular, the VMware Player (operating under Microsoft Windows) has not been investigated and no support is available for this configuration.1
