zPDT may be used in a virtual environment or in docker containers.
18.1 Docker
IBM has done basic testing of zPDT running in a docker environment, indicating that this can be a reasonable environment for zPDT operation. As with other types of virtualization, we caution against overcommitment of the base system or understating a reasonable zPDT configuration. These cautions are usually related to memory sizes and availability.
