FREEDOM
As the acknowledgment of autonomy, freedom is the other side of the coin of respect. It is the maximum reward; it empowers, it respects, it recognizes. Freedom starts with forms as basic as freedom of style. Few things express so clearly who we are and what we stand for as the clothes we wear, daring or conservative, carefree or careful, lighthearted or serious. And feeling welcome to express something as basic as “who we are” is a sine qua non of finding our creative juices. So do not just give lip service to this personal expression of being; allow the hallways to become a runway where styles are celebrated. The knowledge you will gain from this understanding will be invaluable to your ability to lead creatives.
