The French philosopher Rene Descartes is credited for stating “Cogito, ergo sum.” In English, it translates into “I think, therefore, I am.” This statement is profoundly responsible for thousands of hours of Philosophy 101 classes and for discussions on the meaning of life and the existence of a human soul. One thing is certain from this quote: “I think, therefore, I am” can also mean you have an Identity.
