• Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) tablet, 500 mg

• Graduated cylinder, 10 mL

• Graduated cylinder, 100 mL

• Iodine solution

• Pipettes

• Starch indicator solution

• Test tubes

• Test tube rack

Materials you Provide

• Gloves

• Water, distilled or deionized

• Soft drink bottle, 500 mL, clean and empty

• Specimen(s): urine (see text)
