It manifests itself in many different forms, from the aural, to the written, to the drawn and painted, to the non-verbal gestures and expressions that we make with our bodies. We experience it when making a baby smile, when cheering on our favorite football team to victory, and when talking to our loved ones. Communication is the very glue that binds human societies together. Without it, we would become completely isolated and incapable of working together.
