In this chapter, you’ll learn how to create color variations and color groups via the Color Guide panel first. Then you’ll learn how to use the powerful Live Color dialog box to edit colors in, and assign new colors to, your artwork, and also how to reduce the number of colors in your artwork.

The new color controls

Via the Color Guide panel and the Live Color dialog box, you can generate color schemes based on harmony rules and variation types, and save the resulting colors as a group to the Swatches panel.
